At Candy Funhouse, I had the opportunity to explore various design approaches and mediums, working with vibrant and illustrative packaging that truly ignited my creativity and elevated my design thinking. My experience there allowed me to design engaging email templates and create a wide range of marketing assets, including packaging designs, brochures, business cards, and content for social media platforms. It was a fulfilling and dynamic role that sharpened my skills in creating visually captivating and cohesive brand materials.

Email Marketing
At Candy Funhouse, a large part of my role involved email marketing. I explored a variety of design techniques to showcase candies—ranging from simple and lifestyle visuals to playful, illustrative styles—always aiming to grab recipients' attention quickly and boost site traffic.
Promotional Email
For promotional emails, I made sure each design aligned closely with the occasion they represented. For instance, during Christmas, I created festive-themed emails to capture the holiday spirit, while summer sale designs featured vibrant, playful elements to evoke a warm, carefree vibe.
Packaging Designs
I had the honor of leading a major revamp of the Candy FunBox design, aligning it with the new brand guidelines. The goal was to create a design that was simple yet playful, instantly recognizable as part of the 'Funhouse' brand. A key element in the redesign was the roof icon, which paid homage to the original Candy FunBox but with a modern and simplified twist.
Another exciting project I recently worked on was the Terry's Chocolate PR box. This design aimed to reflect the updated Terry’s brand identity while incorporating a sports theme. Given Candy Funhouse's affiliation with renowned basketball player Giannis Antetokounmpo, the project was a special collaboration designed to captivate both sports and chocolate enthusiasts.
April Fools Challenge
For April Fools in 2024, the team and I wanted to create something playful and unexpected. We came up with the concept of an imaginary product under a well-known candy brand: "Vocalicious with Airheads." Each gummy in this fictional product was humorously designed to alter the voice to match a specific "celebrity flavor." I ensured the design remained consistent with the existing Airheads packaging while adding our unique twist to make it stand out.
This concept ended up being one of the most clicked and viewed products on our Instagram that week, generating a lot of engagement and excitement among our followers.
Banners & ADs
Beyond my regular email marketing tasks, I also created numerous product banners for the website. These included product highlights, promotional banners, and special giveaway banners, like the Wonka Week and Win Candy For A Year campaigns featured below.
The ads I created were primarily featured on Instagram Stories, depending on the product being highlighted, the design can be simple or playful.
Social Media Contents
With the company's rebrand, our social media platforms underwent several updates. Using the new brand guidelines, I redesigned the story highlight icons for the Instagram homepage. Additionally, I created featured posts for the feed, tailored to align with the content we aimed to spotlight each week.
